What brings them to Japan?: Kaname Kuran is the right hand man, like a bodyguard, to his boss, Zaya Orihara. He knows more about his boss than anyone else, having been her close companion for years. In supporting the Black Tails Gang, he makes weapons, or acts as an informant. But be warned. Don't get on his bad side or you might be killed instantly.
Other: In regards to his own love life and family, he likes to keep it quiet and only tells his boss how things on his more personal side are going.
Kaname's personality is friendly and he enjoys making friends, even though he is 'ruler of the vampires', which sometimes causes him to be ruder to others before conversation can turn amiable and he can enjoy other people's company. But unfortunately, when his mind wanders or he becomes upset, the walls of buildings and/or glass will crack in his frustration. If it happens, it might do you good to ask him what's wrong. However, if he says he doesn't want to talk about it, it's best to leave him alone or wait a couple minutes and approach him with another subject. He prefers to keep his past locked away forever and forgotten for all of eternity, so don't ask him about it.
